Carteret, a borough in Middlesex County, New Jersey, packaged liquor may be sold between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, and between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Packaged beer and wine may be sold at the following times:
- Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Monday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Tuesday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Wednesday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
- Saturday: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
However, the following exceptions apply:
New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve, packaged beer and wine may be sold until 4:00 a.m.
Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants at the following times:
- Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Monday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Tuesday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Wednesday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
- Saturday: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
However, the following exceptions apply:
New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve, alcoholic beverages may be served until 4:00 a.m.
