In Elizabeth, a city in Union County, New Jersey, packaged liquor may be sold between noon and 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, and between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Packaged beer and wine may be sold at any time except between 3:00 a.m. Saturday night and noon Sunday afternoon.
However, the following exceptions apply:
New Year's Eve. When New Year's Eve falls on Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Christmas Eve. When Christmas Eve falls on Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold beginning at 9:00 a.m.
