In unincorporated areas in Banks County, Georgia, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited on Sunday. Packaged liquor may be sold between 8:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The sale of packaged beer and wine is prohibited on Sunday. Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and between 8:00 a.m. and midnight on Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Wineries. At wineries, bottled wine may be sold between 7:00 a.m. and midnight, Monday through Saturday.

Wednesday Before Thanksgiving. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, packaged beer and wine may only be sold until midnight.

Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, packaged beer and wine may only be sold until midnight.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 12:30 p.m. and midnight on Sunday, between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and between 8:00 a.m. and midnight on Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Christmas. On-premises service of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.
