In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold at the following times:

• Sunday: noon to 2:00 a.m.
• Monday: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
• Tuesday: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
• Wednesday: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
• Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
• Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
• Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., Friday and Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Extended Hours. Businesses may not serve alcoholic beverages later than midnight without first obtaining an extended hours permit from the city. (The table above reflects the hours of sale that apply to businesses that have obtained this permit.)
