Cape May, a city in Cape May County, New Jersey, packaged liquor may be sold between noon and 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, and between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
However, the following exceptions apply:
Extended Summer Hours. Between the Friday before Memorial Day and September 30, packaged beer and wine may be sold until 3:00 a.m. For Thursday and Friday nights, these extended hours are in effect between May 1 and October 15.
Holidays. Packaged beer and wine may be sold until 3:00 a.m. on the following nights:
- New Year's Eve
- The Saturday before Easter
- The Wednesday before Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
