In St. Charles, a city in Kane County, Illinois, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

New Year's Eve. When New Year's Eve falls on a Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Christmas Eve. When Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Extended Hours. Businesses may not serve alcoholic beverages later than midnight without first obtaining an extended hours permit from the city. (The table above reflects the hours of sale that apply to businesses that have obtained this permit.)

Pheasant Run. At Pheasant Run Resort, alcoholic beverages may be served until 3:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Kane County Fair. At the Kane County Fair, alcoholic beverages may be served beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday.
