In Macomb, a city in McDonough County, Illinois, the sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Sunday. Packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Extended Hours. Businesses may not sell packaged alcoholic beverages later than midnight without first obtaining an extended hours permit from the city. (The table above reflects the hours of sale that apply to businesses that have obtained this permit.)

New Year's Eve. When New Year's Eve falls on a Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. When New Year's Eve falls on a day other than Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold for one additional hour.

Super Bowl Sunday. On Super Bowl Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between noon and 11:00 p.m.

  • Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to midnight
  • Monday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

  • Wednesday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
  • Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
