In unincorporated areas in
Jefferson County, Illinois, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold at the following times:
- Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to midnight
- Monday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Tuesday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Wednesday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Saturday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
However, the following exceptions apply:
New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold until 2:00 a.m.
Christmas. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.
Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants at the following times:
- Sunday: noon to 10:00 p.m.
- Monday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Tuesday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Wednesday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Saturday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
However, the following exceptions apply:
New Year's Eve. There is no mandatory closing time on New Year's Eve, although new customers may not enter the premises after 2:00 a.m.
Christmas. On-premises service of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.
