In Lake City, a city in Clayton County, Georgia, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited.

Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 1:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, and between 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Election Day. On the day of any federal, state, or local election, packaged alcoholic beverages may not be sold until after the polls have closed.

Christmas. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.
