In unincorporated areas in Clayton County, Georgia, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited.

Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 12:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, and between 7:00 a.m. and midnight, Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Christmas. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 1:00 p.m. and midnight on Sunday, and between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Election Day. On the day of any federal, state, or local election, alcoholic beverages may not be served until 7:00 p.m.
