In unincorporated areas in Oconee County, Georgia, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited.

The sale of packaged beer and wine is prohibited on Sunday. Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 7:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Christmas. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.

On-premises service of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Sunday. Alcoholic beverages may be served between 11:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

New Year's Eve. When New Year's Eve falls on a day other than Sunday, alcoholic beverages may be served until 12:30 a.m.

Christmas. On-premises service of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.
