In unincorporated areas in Meriwether County, Georgia, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited.
Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 12:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, and between 8:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
However, the following exceptions apply:
Thanksgiving. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Thanksgiving Day.
Christmas. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 12:30 p.m. and midnight on Sunday, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and between 11:00 a.m. and midnight on Saturday.
