In unincorporated areas in Charlton County, Georgia, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited.

Packaged beer and wine may be sold at any time except between midnight Saturday night and 6:00 a.m. Monday morning.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Election Day. On the day of any federal, state, or local election, packaged alcoholic beverages may not be sold until one hour after the polls have closed.

On-premises service of beer and wine is prohibited on Sunday. Beer and wine may be served between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
