Under West Virginia state law, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited on Sunday. Packaged liquor may be sold between 8:00 a.m. and midnight, Monday through Saturday.
Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
However, the following exceptions apply:
Christmas. The sale of packaged liquor is prohibited on Christmas Day.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
