Under North Dakota state law, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between noon and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, and between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Thanksgiving. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Thanksgiving Day.

Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, packaged alcoholic beverages may only be sold until 6:00 p.m.

Christmas. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between noon and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, and between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.

Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, alcoholic beverages may only be served until 6:00 p.m.

Christmas. On-premises service of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.
