In unincorporated areas in Nassau County, New York, packaged liquor may be sold at the following times:
  • Sunday: noon to 9:00 p.m.
  • Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Packaged beer and wine may be sold at any time except between 3:00 a.m. Saturday night and 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Extended Hours. On any weekday during the month of December, and on any day that is followed by a legal holiday, packaged liquor may be sold until 10:00 p.m.

Christmas. The sale of packaged liquor is prohibited on Christmas Day.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between noon and 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, and between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
