In unincorporated areas in Chemung County, New York, packaged liquor may be sold between noon and 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, and between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., any day of the week.
However, the following exceptions apply:
December. On any day other than Sunday or Christmas Day during the month of December, packaged liquor may be sold until 10:00 p.m.
Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, packaged beer and wine may not be sold after 10:00 p.m.
Christmas. The sale of packaged liquor is prohibited on Christmas Day.
New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve, packaged beer and wine may be sold until 3:00 a.m.
