However, the following exceptions apply:

New Year's Eve. When New Year's Eve falls on a day other than Saturday, packaged beer and wine may be sold until 5:00 a.m.

New Year's Day. On New Year's Day, packaged alcoholic beverages may not be sold before 11:00 a.m.
