In Livingston Township, Essex County, New Jersey, packaged liquor may be sold between noon and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, and between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Packaged beer and wine may be sold between noon and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on Saturday.
However, the following exceptions apply:
New Year's Eve. When New Year's Eve falls on a day other than Saturday, there is no mandatory closing time for packaged beer and wine sales. When New Year's Eve falls on a Saturday, packaged beer and wine may be sold until 5:00 a.m.
New Year's Day. When New Year's Day falls on a Sunday, packaged beer and wine may be sold beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Saturdays in December. On the three Saturday nights between December 10 and December 30 of each year, packaged beer and wine may be sold until 5:00 a.m.
Sundays in December. On the three Sundays between December 11 and December 31 of each year, packaged liquor may be sold between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
