In unincorporated areas in Alaska's Unorganized Borough, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., any day of the week.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Election Day. On the day of any federal, state, or local election, packaged alcoholic beverages may not be sold until after the polls have closed.

Unincorporated Communities. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited in the following unincorporated communities:
  • Akiachak
  • Atmautluak
  • Beaver
  • Birch Creek
  • Chalkyitsik
  • Gulkana
  • Kasigluk
  • Kipnuk
  • Kongiganak
  • Kwigillingok
  • Minto
  • Newtok
  • Red Devil
  • Stevens Village
  • Takotna
  • Tanacross
  • Tatitlek
  • Tetlin
  • Tuluksak
  • Tuntutuliak
  • Tununak
  • Twin Hills

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., any day of the week.
