In
Galena, a city in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., Friday and Saturday.
However, the following exceptions apply:
Holidays. Packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold until 5:00 a.m. on the following nights:
- New Year's Eve
- The Sunday before Memorial Day
- July 3
- The Sunday before Labor Day
Election Day. On the day of any federal, state, or local election, packaged alcoholic beverages may not be sold until after the polls have closed.
Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., Friday and Saturday.
