Under Kansas state law, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited on Sunday. Packaged liquor may be sold between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The sale of packaged beer is prohibited on Sunday. Packaged beer (up to 4% alcohol by volume) may be sold between 6:00 a.m. and midnight, Monday through Saturday.
However, the following exceptions apply:
Holidays. The sale of packaged wine and liquor is prohibited on the following days:
- Memorial Day
- The Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Liquor may be served in bars and restaurants between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., any day of the week.
Beer (up to 4% alcohol by volume) may be served between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, and between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
