In Rockford, Illinois, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between 11:00 a.m. and midnight on Sunday, and between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold until 3:00 a.m. Also, when New Year's Eve falls on a Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Christmas Eve.When Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Other Holidays. On the Sunday night before any federal holiday that falls on a Monday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold until 2:00 a.m.
