In McHenry, a city in McHenry County, Illinois, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Friday and Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Holidays. Packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold until 2:00 a.m. on the following nights:

• New Year's Eve
• The Sunday before Memorial Day
• July 3
• The Wednesday before Thanksgiving

When one of the days listed above falls on a Friday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold until 3:00 a.m.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants at the following times:

• Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• Monday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• Tuesday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• Wednesday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
• Saturday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
