Freeport, a city in Stephenson County, Illinois, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
However, the following exceptions apply:
New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold until 2:00 a.m.
Other Holidays. Packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold until 11:30 p.m. on the following nights:
- Super Bowl Sunday
- July 4 (when it falls on a Sunday)
- Christmas Eve (when it falls on a Sunday)
- Christmas Day (when it falls on a Sunday)
Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
