In unincorporated areas in Macoupin County, Illinois, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between noon and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, and between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Election Day. On the day of any federal, state, or local election, the sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited while the polls are open.
