In Georgetown, a city in Quitman County, Georgia, packaged liquor may be sold between 12:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, and between 8:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Packaged beer and wine may be sold at any time except between midnight Saturday night and 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, or between 11:30 p.m. Sunday night and 12:01 a.m. on Monday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Election Day. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited at all times between 11:55 p.m. on the day before any federal, state, or local election and 8:00 a.m. on the day after the election.

Thanksgiving. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited at all times between 11:55 p.m. on the day before Thanksgiving Day and 8:00 a.m. on the day after Thanksgiving Day.

Christmas. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited at all times between 11:55 p.m. on Christmas Eve and 8:00 a.m. on the day after Christmas Day.

On-premises service of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Sunday. Alcoholic beverages may be served between 11:00 a.m. and 11:55 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
