In unincorporated areas in Tift County, Georgia, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited.

The sale of packaged beer and wine is prohibited on Sunday. Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and between 7:00 a.m. and midnight on Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

New Year's Eve. When New Year's Eve falls on a Sunday, packaged alcoholic beverages may be sold between 6:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.
