In unincorporated areas in Polk County, Georgia, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited.

Packaged beer and wine may be sold between 12:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and between 6:00 a.m. and midnight on Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

Christmas. The sale of packaged alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Christmas Day.
