In unincorporated areas in Douglas County, Georgia, the sale of packaged liquor is prohibited.

Packaged beer and wine may be sold at any time except between 11:55 p.m. Saturday night and 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, or between 11:30 p.m. Sunday night and 12:01 a.m. on Monday.

Alcoholic beverages may be served in bars and restaurants between 12:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, and between 6:00 a.m. and 2:55 a.m., Monday through Saturday.

However, the following exceptions apply:

New Year's Eve. When New Year's Eve falls on a Sunday, alcoholic beverages may be served until 2:55 a.m.
